Operating Machinery of any kind is very dangerous under the influence of Marijuana as Marijuana

is a Psycho Active Drug and Marijuana alters the Physical and Mental State of the Body and Mind.

Reactions and Judgement will be Slower on Marijuana as Marijuana slows down the Brain and Body Function. More Vehicle Accidents may ensue as reaction time is slower on Marijuana and Driving Skills need to be at the sharpest with readiness for quick reactions at all times.

Motor Vehicles, including Cars, Trucks, Boats, Aircrafts, Machinery and Railway Vehicles should not be driven if the person has smoked Marijuana, Hashish or other Drugs.


Another possible risk of consuming THC or Marijuana is impaired Motor Skills.  Marijuana may impair Driving or similar tasks for approximately Three to Four Hours after consumption and it is the second

most common Psychoactive substance found in Drivers, after Alcohol, reports the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. 


Operating Vehicles While Impaired


The Law in Canada States that Driving while under the influence of Drugs or Alcohol is a Criminal

Offense.


As it States in Bill C 46 Section 253 of the Criminal Code in Canada

R.S.C. 1985  Last revised on 2016-06-17

253 (1) Every one commits an offense who operates a Motor Vehicle or Vessel or operates or assists in the operation of an Aircraft or Railway equipment or has the care or control of a Motor Vehicle,Vessel, Aircraft or Railway equipment, whether it is in motion or not,
(a) while the person’s ability to operate the vehicle, vessel, aircraft or railway equipment is impaired by alcohol or a drug

(b) having consumed Alcohol in such a quantity that the concentration in the person’s blood exceeds Eighty Milligrams of Alcohol in One Hundred Millilitres of blood.
